• Company, tax and statutory records.
• Firearms dealer records required by the Firearms Control Act, 2000.
• Customer enquiry, sale, transfer and service records.
• Supplier and employment records.

How to make a request

Submit a written request to the information officer using the prescribed PAIA form, stating the record required, the right you are seeking to exercise and how you wish to receive the record. We respond within the periods set by the Act. Prescribed fees may apply.

Grounds for refusal

Access may be refused where the Act requires or permits it, including to protect the privacy of third parties, commercial information, or records whose disclosure is prohibited by other law — notably records held under firearms legislation.
